Small Church. Big Impact.

by admin

As soon as Hurricane Harvey hit, Light of the World Christian Church in Stockbridge put out a plea. In just days, supplies started rolling in. The small congregation gathered enough diapers, baby wipes, non-perishable food and more to help a family of 10 evacuees get settled.

“They brought a trailer full of stuff…” said one evacuee. “They showered us with love.”

Donations kept coming! Enough to fill two trucks bound for Houston and still help another displaced family. Funds are now being sent to help with Irma recovery.

The church is known for a “legacy of love.” It shows.
