Final Chapter

by Jan Schroder

patchwork

This week we are pleased to offer the final chapter of Patchwork, our serialized novel that has graced each issue of The Atlanta 100 since its October 2013 debut.

The novel began with a 1980 story in The Augusta Chronicle, profiling a remarkable woman who suffered tragedy and triumph as a missionary in China in the 1930s. Her family and hundreds of others were trapped when the Japanese invaded China, spending years in a prison camp during World War II.

Though she died years ago, her spirit nudged us through the years to tell her amazing story.

Now we have.
