If you’ve ever wanted to experience the car-free areas of cities like those in Munich or Vienna, Atlanta Streets Alive is for you. Three Sundays a year, the program temporarily closes Atlanta neighborhood streets to cars to create a new healthy, sustainable and vibrant city experience.

The 2017 dates and locations have been released and are as follows:

– April 23, Southside: Seven neighborhoods among the Historic West End Route via Ralph David Abernathy

– June 11, Westside: Streets via Marietta St. and Howell Mill Road amid Atlanta Cycling Festival

– Sept. 24, Central: Atlanta’s signature Peachtree Street from Downtown to Midtown

– Vedika Nigam, HGOR
