One of Atlanta’s most well-known spooky events, the Little 5 Points Halloween Parade & Festival, returns this weekend, Oct. 18-19.
While the festival’s origins are unclear, it’s known as one of the longest-standing traditions in Little Five Points, with residents recalling the event dating back to the 1970s. Now a nationally recognized attraction, the celebration draws tens of thousands of visitors each year and is ranked as a Top 10 national Halloween event by USA Today and the Travel Channel.
The festival also serves as a fundraiser for the Little Five Points Business Association, supporting the area’s culture, community and businesses.
