‘Tis the season for holiday fun and spreading cheer throughout the community. And there are several opportunities around the city to volunteer in the spirit of the holidays:
• Join “Wrappy Hour” with Atlanta Angels to help sort, organize and wrap holiday gifts for youth in foster care.
• Work in the United Way of Greater Atlanta’s Holiday Store from Dec. 12-14 to support children and teens in the organization’s development program.
• Donate or volunteer at Atlanta Fire Rescue and Station 16’s Annual Holiday Party, providing meals and gifts for local families.
• Volunteer at Present Palooza from the East Atlanta Kids Club.
