With holiday shopping in full swing, it can be tempting to head to large retail shops or online to get through your gift-giving list. However, this year consider supporting local artists and fair trade co-ops during Fair Trade Art & Gift Market, offering the perfect opportunity to snag unique gifts for everyone on your list.
Located at Church at Ponce & Highland, the market takes place 9:30am-4:30pm on Saturday, Dec. 7. In addition to the beautiful art and gifts for sale, there will be delicious food, and a silent auction, with proceeds benefiting the Mayan Intercultural Seminary.
The event is free to attend.
