IRONMAN 70.3 Augusta returns to Augusta, Georgia, on September 27, 2026, bringing athletes and spectators together for an exciting race weekend along the Savannah River.
Athletes will take on the 70.3-mile course, beginning with a 1.2-mile swim in the Savannah River, followed by a 56-mile bike ride through the surrounding countryside and a 13.1-mile run through Augusta and North Augusta before finishing in downtown Augusta.
Whether competing or cheering from the sidelines, race weekend offers visitors a chance to experience Augusta’s riverfront, downtown attractions, local restaurants and Southern hospitality while enjoying one of the region’s premier endurance events.
