One of my biggest frustrations in running a client services business is when clients don’t pay, although agreements are in place, and the work is complete.
We hold their hand, and in good faith, don’t charge late fees and carry them a few months without pay – all while scrambling to secure new clients to fill the gap. Finally, we push back and implement late fees. Then they claim the work wasn’t done, or the quality of work didn’t meet their expectations, so they don’t owe anything. It’s B.S.
We’ve all been there. Right? Stand up for yourself and sue.
