For 35 years, Criminal Records has been a beloved fixture of Atlanta’s music scene, bringing independent music, live performances and community to Little Five Points.
Founded by Eric Levin in 1991, the iconic record shop has welcomed performances and appearances by many notable artists, including Weezer, André 3000, Charli XCX and more. To celebrate the milestone, Criminal Records recently hosted a free, three-stage block party on Aug. 15, featuring more than 30 artists, DJs and vendors.
The celebration offered a fitting tribute to the shop’s decades-long legacy – and the Atlanta community that has helped make Criminal Records a local institution.
