Indoor high-intensity cycling classes were all the rage before COVID-19. Studios like Soul Cycle were opening locations across the country. However, many riders’ behaviors have shifted. Instead of returning to the studios, riders can join classes from the comfort of their home.
As a result, Soul Cycle announced it will close 20 studios across the country, including one of its two Atlanta studios.
The Ponce City Market location closed its doors on Aug. 18, but the Buckhead Shops Around Lenox studio will remain open. The company plans to reevaluate its portfolio to bring the best experience to Soul Cycle enthusiasts.
