Atlanta-based startup Hear2There (H2T) is transforming accessibility for the blind and visually impaired through its innovative navigation technology.
Utilizing Bluetooth beacons, GPS and ultra-wideband (UWB) technology, the H2T smartphone app provides real-time, audio-based guidance, enabling users to navigate both indoor and outdoor spaces with greater independence. From identifying entrances and exits to locating restrooms and elevators, H2T enhances spatial awareness in various environments.
The technology has been implemented in multiple cities, including Decatur, Georgia, and is expanding into schools, hospitals and public transit systems. A member of Georgia Tech’s ATDC Accelerate program, Hear2There’s mission is to create more inclusive communities.
