Kroger is changing up the grocery game

Kroger has unveiled new technology hoping to ease shoppers’ experiences. In the days of Amazon curbside pickup and online shopping, convenience is everything, especially in large cities with mass audiences and limited parking such as Atlanta.

Kroger Edge allows customers to create shopping lists within an app. It then communicates with smartphones via electronic strips on shelf tags and highlights shelf locations of specific products, making it easier to find shopping list items quickly and more efficiently.

The technology displays pricing, nutritional information, video ads and coupons, and allows Kroger to instantly change prices and activate promotions across its stores.
