Amazon is trying to combat front-door thieves by giving delivery men access to your house when you are away, but there’s a far more palatable (and private) option: Ring. This crowdfunded smart doorbell packs motion-sensored video surveillance and two-way audio into its wifi-enabled doorbell, alerting you on your phone to possibly nefarious front-door visitors before letting you remotely shoo them off your property.
