Stripping Away the Past at The Clermont

An iconic run-down lodge that houses the bawdy strip club known for “Hot Girls and Cold Pabst,” the Clermont is being reinvented as Hotel Clermont, a 94-room boutique hotel slated to open in the spring. Accommodations are designed for a range of guests and include standard rooms, suites and bunk rooms that can sleep four.

A rooftop bar is planned along with a restaurant, an American-French brasserie named Tiny Lou’s after a popular dancer there in the 1950s.

Fans of the Clermont Lounge can relax: the club will continue to operate in the basement under independent ownership.
