SPR Atlanta, the 15-year-old public relations firm that launched The Atlanta 100 in 2013, was acquired yesterday by The Wilbert Group.
The combined firm will become one of the largest independent PR firms in Atlanta and will provide a larger platform with increased service offerings to clients of both firms. SPR founder Chris Schroder said, “This acquisition made perfect sense for our team, our clients and Atlanta.”
Sarah Weston will become a Wilbert VP. Other SPR employees will also transfer. Schroder will serve as an informal advisor and focus time on The Atlanta 100 and The 100 Companies.
