Two of Atlanta’s beloved institutions are teaming up August 15 for a night celebrating the food and drink of the South.

ATL beer expert and writer Ale Sharpton is pairing Southern craft beers alongside a Sweet Auburn Barbecue four-course feast, including pimento cheese wontons, scallops with Swiss chard and a bourbon butter cake. Passed hors d’oeuvres and beer will begin at 6:30 with the seated dinner at 7. Executive Chef Cam Floyd and Ale Sharpton will be there to discuss the pairings.

The event will be held at the Poncey-Highland restaurant. Tickets are $60 and available here.
