Realtor.com recently ranked Atlanta No. 2 on “The Next Big Tech Hubs That Are (Still) Affordable.” The site makes a compelling argument for our city, coming in behind Austin and ahead of Chicago and Pittsburgh.
Citing our Google Fiber service and fast path to homeownership, as well as talent pools from schools like Georgia Tech, the site notes Atlanta has generated nearly 2,000 tech companies.
Another nod to our rising (and affordable) tech industry is SuperNova South, the Southeast’s largest and longest-running tech conference, which is held in Atlanta and, despite its popularity, remains only $250/ticket.
