Come next Falcons playoff run, you’ll no longer see the fluorescent Astra vests along Northside Drive. After nearly two years, the construction company will leave you with a more efficient and safe route to your home, work or Mercedes-Benz Stadium.
Astra Group Inc. began work on Northside Drive in Spring 2015, installing larger, 36-inch water lines to accommodate Buckhead’s growing water needs and removing reversible lanes for reduced traffic congestion. This $26 million project positively transforms the major artery from Buckhead to the Westside and I-75.
