When HGOR Principal Bob Hughes received the highest award from the UGA College of Environment + Design’s Alumni Association, the distinguished alumni medal, he thanked his three families: his immediate family, his HGOR family and his UGA family.
Since graduating from UGA in ’77, Bob has been a visiting lecturer and graduation speaker, served as president of the CED’s alumni association, created a lecture fund alongside HGOR and established a professorship.
