In times of fast growth, companies are eager to quickly add bright talent to their growing team. However, your growth can grind to a halt if you throw your vetting process to the wayside.

I’ve made that mistake. I was hiring based on what was written down on a resume, not based on cultural fit.

No matter how booming business is, I take time to learn about each candidate who may be on our payroll one day. If you want to keep business up and turnover down, take time to ensure candidates are a good cultural fit above all else.
