This week, the Atlanta Business Chronicle named David Rubinger its market president and publisher.
A former ABC editor who took a successful 16-year tour in public relations before returning to lead the veteran media team into its inevitable digital future, David is a strategic thinker and genuinely nice guy.
We don’t put much stock in titles, but noted the addition of “market president” signals to other media in town that the ABC, which long ago arrested control of covering Atlanta’s biggest asset – business – from the AJC, is about to take an even more strategic run at the ever-shifting media market.
