My wife was a proponent of family dinners long before research extolled their benefits. Lunch is a different story. Even when she goes to her office, she eats at her desk.
I’ve been a long-time desk-diner too. This year, I resolved to lunch with clients and media more often. It’s proved to be beneficial, though one client steadfastly resisted my invitations due to their workload.
So I took P.Red’s BBQ to their office on the fifth anniversary of hiring us. While I missed that one-on-one time, I’m hoping the outcomes prove to be as savory as the stew and ’que.
