On Thursday, October 15, 32 theaters around the country will host the 5th annual 2015 Kickstarter Film Festival for a celebration of independent feature films and shorts – all funded on Kickstarter.
Four crowdfunded films will be shown over the course of four hours. Atlanta’s oldest operating theater, the Plaza Theatre on Ponce, is one of the 32 theaters participating. Tickets to the second session are still available, featuring T-Rex, a documentary about a female Olympic boxer, and two animated shorts, Submarine Sandwich and award-winning World of Tomorrow.
The event is first-come, first-served; you can RSVP in advance for free admission.
