Atlanta’s tech report card is glowing! CBRE’s recently released Scoring Tech Talent report discovered Atlanta scores in the top 10 markets for tech talent momentum and overall tech talent after the city experienced 21.2 percent growth from 2010-2013.
The Scorecard also uncovered how Atlanta could improve its ranking. For example, our city’s tech market is made up of 75 percent males and only 25 percent females.
As more women than ever are becoming IT developers, engineers and architects, blazing the trail for the next generation of women in tech, I expect we’ll score much better on the next report card.
