While many people lose sight of their dreams after entering adulthood, Nancy Plesnarski held on to hers. As a young adult, Nancy loved working in her parents’ restaurant where she was her own boss and felt connected to her community.
She left the restaurant world for a successful and fulfilling corporate career, but her dream of being her own boss remained. After a year of retirement, Nancy and her husband, Skip, learned it was not for them and dove back into entrepreneurship.
