Preparing a successful developer for a local newspaper interview four months ago, I probed for his first inkling that he enjoyed building. Finally, he recalled a high school coach dragging him into shop class – ushering my client into what then became his life’s passion.
“Did you ever thank him?” I asked.
“No.”
“You must call him,” I urged. “Today!”
“I want you to know I made the call that day,” my client told me this week. “I later visited with him and sent the newspaper article in which I credited his guidance.”
He paused.
“I just returned from his funeral.”
