Even if you already have your sweetheart for February 14, are you a match made in heaven with your current job? If not, all is not lost. LinkedIn recently compiled which industries hired the most “career-switchers,” candidates coming from a different industry.
The top three industries – Internet, venture capital and private equity, and computer and network security – all hired more than 10 percent career switchers.
Many skills developed in one industry can be effectively utilized in other industries. Even if Cupid didn’t match you with your perfect industry the first time, don’t give up on the job of your dreams.
