Earlier this month, a popular YouTuber gave $100 to a homeless man and followed him to see what happened. After the man emerged from a liquor store with bags of food he then gave to others, over $144,000 was crowdfunded to give him a second chance.
While that campaign was focused on helping just one man, this Kickstarter for a new local restaurant is hoping to provide a second chance to many of Atlanta’s 2,000+ homeless citizens.
The Gathering will provide hard-to-find jobs for homeless people that have recently beaten addiction or been released from prison.
