During our sweltering summers, foam pool noodles provide Southerners with countless hours of aquatic enjoyment and relaxation. Now, thanks to the Kickstarted Nugget, we can kick back and relax on the same material even while on dry land.

After seeing countless futons thrown away after just one year of use while studying at UNC, Atlantan David Baron made it his mission to create a sofa that was easy to transport, required no assembly and was incredibly comfortable.

By using pool noodle foam for its core, Baron has kept the Nugget to just 19 pounds while giving up nothing on comfort.
