In our second video with Green Street Properties Founder Katherine Kelley, she discusses her inspirations. From visiting her father’s office growing up to traveling to “people places” across the country, Katharine was inspired by these mixed-use developments and the different elements of which they are comprised.
Her father – influential developer Blaine Kelley, Jr. – used art and water in developing mixed-use environments, and these elements still impact Katharine’s career today. Though she didn’t know it at the time, these people places would eventually lead to founding Green Street Properties and using her inspirations to develop communal properties for others to enjoy.
