This week’s business news out of Buckhead that Cary Street Partners is acquiring The Breckenridge Group can be traced back to friendships forged in college.
Three of the four Breckenridge partners and several top executives at Cary Street graduated from the University of Virginia.
This deal – amid reports another is imminent and following its recent purchase of Riverstone in Texas – positions Cary Street Partners as one of the largest Southeast investment banking firms and fastest-growing regional wealth management players.
