Attending a PR conference this week in Key West (slideshow above) on new tools, storytelling, technologies and best practices, we were treated to a tour of the house where Ernest Hemingway wrote many of his finest works.

We listened to author and BloombergBusinessweek columnist Steve McKee describe how the seven words of journalism should be rearranged to develop an effective branding program: why, who, what, how, where and when.

Steve’s recent book recalls Hemingway’s response when asked to tell a story in six words: “For sale: baby shoes, never used.”
