Results from Morgan Stanley’s latest Investor Pulse Poll reveal metro Atlanta high net-worth (HNW) investors are optimistic, yet concerned.
Ninety percent of HNW investors, aged 25-75 with $100,000 or more in investable household financial assets are confident of achieving long-term goals.
The top five concerns mentioned by Atlanta investors: 1) Prospects for U.S. economy; 2) National trade deficit; 3) Government budget deficit; 4) Increased foreign conflicts; 5) Terrorism effects.
Also, two-thirds of Atlanta HNW investors stated they are likely to invest in Georgia-based Fortune 500 companies, while only one in four actually do so. Approximately 300 Atlanta investors were surveyed.
