The Museum of Design’s upcoming exhibit aims to convince visitors playing isn’t just for kids.
“Designing Playful Cities” will show museumgoers the importance of including play in urban environments, especially as cities become more densely populated. The exhibit will encourage people of all ages to add play to their daily lives and inspire designers and developers to envision places to play, such as proper playgrounds, and create fun spaces in underutilized areas.
The exhibit opens Feb. 18. Regular admission is $10 for adults and $5 for kids. Enjoy free admission on Family Free Day the second Sunday of every month.
