Gregg Allman’s Laid Back Festival Returns

by

In August 2015 Gregg Allman launched the inaugural Laid Back Festival in New Jersey. The event was such a success that Allman and his cohorts (including longtime manager Michael Lehman) are bringing back the event in 2016 – this time in five different cities.

The festival, named after Allman’s 1973 debut, will play at Lakewood Amphitheatre May 7. This year’s lineup includes ZZ Top, Michelle Malone, Blackberry Smoke and Stonerider.

In addition to Atlanta, the touring festival is planning stops in Nashville; Chicago; Wantagh, New York, and the world famous Red Rocks Amphitheater in Morrison, Colorado. More acts to be announced.
