Rubber Soul

by admin

Recorded in just over four weeks, Rubber Soul has been called “the most artistic leap in the Beatles’ career.” The album’s title refers to “plastic soul” – a term coined by African-American soul musicians in the 60s to describe Mick Jagger, a white artist singing soul music.

ATL Collective presents a bluegrass re-telling of Rubber Soul with back-to-back shows at Red Light Café September 25. Hear classics like In My Life and Michelle played on the banjo and mandolin by The Little Country Giants, Michael Mann of Radiolucent, Joe McGuiness and Dee Dee Westbrook of The Hot Hearts.

Tickets available online.
