President Biden nominates Mayor Bottoms for DNC post

Atlantans have yet another reason to be proud of the city, as Atlanta Mayor Keisha Lance Bottoms was recently nominated by President Biden for a position with the Democratic National Committee. This position would place her in charge of civic engagement and voter protection — an issue close to her (and all of Atlanta’s) heart, especially after the most recent elections.

Mayor Bottoms responded in a tweet last week saying she is “honored and humbled to be endorsed by @JoeBiden for Vice-Chair of the @DNC. I’m ready to build on our party’s progress to make a better future for all Americans.”
