Dining in Jacksonville

by

The beaches are pretty in Jacksonville, but the food was amazing. For some of the best fried chicken ever, order chicken (1/2 bird!) and waffles at locals’ favorite, Metro Diner.

The fried chicken breasts on biscuits at Maple Street Biscuit Company include ingredients like fried goat cheese medallion with pepper jelly. For award-winning cuisine with an ocean view, visit Azurea at One Ocean on Atlantic Beach.

Tacos at TacoLu are excellent, and on Tuesday nights, visit the beautiful Cummer Museum for live music and special tapas menu. The scallops and Dr. Pepper-braised short ribs blew us away at Moxie Kitchen.
