Monday marks the official groundbreaking of the Transit-Oriented Development (TOD) at the Edgewood/Candler Park MARTA station, dubbed Spoke. Columbia Ventures will deliver 224 premium apartments during the first phase.
“We’re creating a highly amenitized place to live at the MARTA stop, within walking distance to Edgewood Retail District and Little 5 Points,” said Columbia Ventures’ Dillon Baynes.
This is the first of several MARTA station activation projects to break ground under Keith Parker’s leadership and will include a park and restaurant, as well as a Perkins + Will-designed headquarters and performing arts center for Moving in the Spirit.
