Georgia Tech Foundation Buys the Biltmore

by The 100 Companies

When you hear “Biltmore,” many people think of the Biltmore Estate in Asheville, North Carolina. However, a different Biltmore recently made headlines in Atlanta when the Georgia Tech Foundation purchased the historic Biltmore on West Peachtree in Midtown last week.

Chairman Gary Jones noted in a release the Biltmore “simply strengthens what is one of the country’s most energetic technology ecosystems,” referring to the innovation neighborhood, Technology Square.

The Biltmore originally opened as a hotel in 1924, but has recently been utilized as office and event space. Jay O’Meara and a team from CBRE marketed the building for Novare Group.
