Anomia, noun: the inability to name objects or to recognize the written or spoken names of objects. See also: Emily’s new favorite board game.

Anomia, which has sold more than 250,000 copies, is a board game for 3-6 players that anyone from tweens to grandparents can quickly master – making it a great gift that everyone can play when cabin fever strikes. Players faceoff and must quickly recall examples of categories, such as breakfast food, sculptures or cartoon characters. The game is fast-paced with each round only lasting about 25 minutes.

Anomia is available on Amazon for $13.
