It’s happened to all of us. You’re sitting around thinking, “I could really go for some jerky right now.” Your jerky prayers have been answered with the opening of the jerky bar at Smoke Ring, a barbecue restaurant and bar in Castleberry Hill.
Take your pick of seven jerky varieties, including rabbit, pork and beef for $8. More exotic varieties like alligator, rabbit, duck and venison go for $10 and $11. Chef Jordan Wakefield and bartender Chase Alger smoke and package all the jerky inhouse.
In addition to a variety of barbecue plates, Smoke Ring has sandwiches, salads and sliders.
